If your company has patents in Europe, then France is an essential
jurisdiction to understand for a number of reasons. France is a commonly
used jurisdiction for patent litigation as can be seen by the Paris Court
seeing on average 350 patent cases initiated each year. France's
importance will continue to grow with Paris being chosen to become the
seat of the central division of the proposed Unitary Patent Court.
To assist our clients to better understand this important jurisdiction for
patent litigation and the proposed unitary patent and its related unitary
patent court, two of our most experienced patent litigators from our Paris
office are coming to Japan to present the following seminar. They will
present in English but we will also provide Japanese interpretation of key
points throughout the seminar and the seminar material will be printed in
Japanese as well as English.
