Erhard Keller has extensive experience in patent litigation and invalidity proceedings in all technical areas, with a specific focus on engineering and telecommunication, especially standard essential patents. He also has litigated countless trademark, unfair competition and copyright disputes as well as represented clients before the European Court of Justice. Erhard is also experienced in negotiating and drafting licensing agreements and a leading expert in trademark secret law with a leading commentary in this field (see: Keller/Schönknecht/Glinke Geschäftsgeheimnisschutzgesetz: GeschGehG).
He is chairman of the expert committee for trademark law and unfair competition at the German Association of Intellectual Property.
He is a regular speaker at IP-related conferences. Erhard studied law in Heidelberg. After five years as an assistant to Prof. Hefermehl, a leading character in the field of intellectual property law, he joined the former IP-boutique von Falck & Tilmann in 1989 and became a partner in 1991.
