Since joining Hogan Lovells in 1987, Emily Yinger has handled high-stakes cases for healthcare companies as well as financial institutions, technology companies, universities, and government entities. She is the former Managing Partner of Hogan Lovells' Northern Virginia office and a member of the firm's Litigation leadership team.

She has defended major health insurers and other businesses against nationwide class action and multi-district litigations. Emily has also defended health insurers in numerous individual and class action suits challenging provider contracting, claims processing, and payment practices, ERISA, fraud, breach of contract, and unfair trade practices claims.

She focuses on matters involving complex contract disputes, business torts, fraud and conspiracy, tortious interference, RICO, breach of fiduciary duty, shareholder derivative and corporate control actions, inverse condemnation, and products liability.
