Edward has represented clients in numerous industry sectors ranging from banking, mining and telecommunications. These disputes have evolved into a multi-jurisdictional commercial litigation practice which has brought Edward extensive experience of courts around the world, including the British Virgin Islands, the Isle of Man and Cyprus. Edward has a particular understanding of the court's powers to preserve assets pending trial, such as worldwide freezing orders and pre-judgment receivership orders.
His representative experience includes complex proceedings in the Isle of Man acting for entities within the Alfa Group, advising BTA Bank in its wide-ranging proceedings against Mukhtar Ablyazov and in various proceedings acting for the ENRC group and its founding shareholders.
