Peter Dixon advises both public and private companies on a broad range of corporate and securities matters. Peter represents clients in the acquisition and disposition of assets and securities, mergers, joint ventures, and other business combinations and reorganizations.

Before joining Hogan Lovells, Peter clerked for the Honorable Richard F. Suhrheinrich of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He attended the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as the Assistant Managing Editor for Publication of the Journal of Law and Politics.

Before law school, Peter taught history and coached lacrosse at his high school alma mater. He earned his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, majoring in philosophy and Notre Dame's Great Books Program, the Program of Liberal Studies.

Representing the Josh Harris-lead consortium on its US$6.05bn acquisition of the Washington NFL Franchise, the highest value sports franchise transaction in U.S. history.

Representing Dell Technologies on the sale of the global RSA business to a consortium led by Symphony Technology Group, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board, and AlpInvest Partners for US$2.075bn.

Representing syncreon on its sale to DP World for US$1.2bn.

Representing LabCorp on its US$670m sale of Covance Food Solutions to Eurofins.

Representing CI Financial on numerous acquisitions related to its RIA roll-up.

Representing Lion Brothers on its sale to Avery Dennison Corporation.

Representing an energy supply trading and logistic company's investment into a joint venture to develop an ammonia plant.

Representing Dell Technologies on its acquisition of DataFrameworks and its data analytics and management solution for both file and cloud storage.

Representing Cisco on its acquisition of Skyport Systems and its hyperconverged infrastructure cloud-based solution.

Representing InspecTools on its sale to PrecisionHawk.

Advised Dominique Dawes, a hall-of-fame Olympic gold medalist, three-time Olympian, and founder of Dominique Dawes Gymnastics & Ninja Academy (“DDGNA”), on DDGNA’s partnership with Trivest Partners.
