Daniel Simons

Daniel focuses his practice on corporate transactions, specialising in equity capital markets and domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. He brings extensive experience in IPOs, secondary fundraisings and private fundraisings and he has significant experience in acting for issuers, underwriters and selling shareholders on London Main Market and AIM transactions and on pre-IPO fundraisings. 

Daniel also has particular focus on public transactions, including P2Ps, and he has advised numerous companies, private equity houses and financial institutions in the context of these transactions.

Advising Polypipe Group plc on its £490m IPO and admission to the London Main Market.

Advising McColl's Retail on its £200m IPO and admission to the London Main Market.

Advising Optimal Payments on its £450m rights issue to part-fund the €1.1bn acquisition of Sentinel Topco.

Advising Canaccord on Tungsten Corporation's £160m IPO and admission to AIM.

Advising Bank of London and the Middle East on its corporate restructuring and US$500m listing on NASDAQ Dubai.

Advising Arria NLG on its £100m initial public offering and admission to AIM.

Advising Canaccord Financial Inc. on its £253.3m public takeover of Collins Stewart Hawkpoint.

Advising Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Cazenove and UBS on Standard Chartered's £1.8bn rights issue.
