Chia Chuong advises national and international clients on all aspects of patent law and other technical intellectual property rights. The focus of her work is on patent and utility model infringement litigation, along with the corresponding matters arising from related validity proceedings.

Her main fields of expertise are the pharmaceutical and medical device industry as well as the telecommunication and technology sector. 

Chia Chuong studied law at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen and spent a semester abroad in Budapest, Hungary. Her academic focus was on private and public media law, including legal aspects of intellectual property. She completed her legal traineeship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Dusseldorf. Prior to her position as an Associate, she worked for many years as a research assistant and as part of her legal traineeship at our Dusseldorf office in the IPMT practice area.
