Cees is a counsel in the London Private Equity & Funds team.  Cees advises on a broad range of corporate and funds transactions, with a particular focus on private M&A, joint ventures, management equity plans, growth capital, secondaries (GP-leds and portfolio transactions), co-investments and buy-outs.  He acts for private equity houses, fund of funds, institutional investors, development finance institutions and corporates across a range of sectors.  Cees previously worked in the corporate team of Hogan Lovells’ Amsterdam office, and is both English and Dutch law qualified.

Pantheon Ventures on various GP-leds, secondary portfolio acquisitions and co-investment transactions

A European pension fund on the disposal of 20+ fund interests to a leading secondaries fund

A large financial institution as investor on a single-asset continuation fund GP-led

EFIC1, a Euronext Amsterdam listed SPAC, on its business combination with digital entertainment and media company Azerion at an enterprise value of EUR 1.3bn

Investindustrial on numerous transactions

International Finance Corporation (IFC) on numerous investments, including as a consortium with EBRD and PFR on their US$ 290m equity investment in Elemental Holding

DBAY on the public takeover of Telit Communications Plc

KIRKBI on its acquisition with Blackstone of Armacell Group from Charterhouse
