Alessandra Carozza advises clients on both civil and criminal aspects of government and internal investigations. Her work frequently includes cross-border investigations and enforcement actions.
Alessandra has experience in assisting companies and individuals during critical aspects of an investigation, from the discovery of internal misconduct to post-settlement compliance. She has worked closely with clients on matters involving the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, the Department of Treasury, and other regulatory bodies.
Alessandra is also a dedicated member of the Hogan Lovells Pro Bono practice, having worked extensively on issues related to criminal justice reform, immigration, and tenants' rights.
During law school, she worked at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and the Department of Justice’s Criminal Division Fraud Section. Prior to law school Alessandra worked as the operations manager for a consulting firm specialized in assisting companies with market entry efforts in Latin America and Africa.
