Kathleen Blanchard focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactional matters.

Kathleen helps public and private clients navigate corporate issues ranging from complex business combinations to joint ventures and investments. She has advised companies in a variety of industries including technology, aerospace, defense, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and real estate.

Prior to law school, Kathleen worked as a federal lobbyist, advising Fortune 500 companies and trade associations in the financial services, telecommunications, defense, information technology, and pharmaceutical industries on legislative and regulatory matters.

While pursuing her law degree, Kathleen worked as a law clerk for the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Corporation Finance, as well as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Litigation Center and Office of General Counsel.

Kathleen graduated from the Duke University School of Law, where she was a staff editor of Law and Contemporary Problems. She earned her B.A. in Government and English from Georgetown University, where she served as Executive Editor of The Hoya.
