As member of our Litigation and Arbitration practice, Benjamin Hansen acts for national and international clients in the resolution of commercial and corporate disputes, whether in or out of court, before state courts or before arbitral tribunals.
He focuses on the advice of corporations in high volume and cross-border post-M&A disputes as well as in connection with manager liability claims. In addition, Benjamin is experienced in professional liability cases. In addition to the preparation of written pleadings his practice in particular includes the clarification of complex case facts and the drafting of dispute settlement agreements.
Benjamin studied law in Trier, Nice and Madrid. He then obtained his Ph.D. with his thesis on issues in international procedural law. During his time as trainee solicitor at the Dusseldorf Higher Regional Court, he worked in the legal department of a leading international pharmaceutical group, in the dispute resolution team of an international law firm and at the German Embassy in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
