Auditing, Internal Reviews, Reporting, Self-Disclosure

Environmental auditing is an important tool to maintain compliance with complex environmental laws and engender effective environmental management systems. We work with our client’s and their environmental consultants to define the scope of their audits, to assess compliance, and develop corrective actions and management system recommendations. We maximize your ability to maintain the confidentiality of the audit and to seek penalty mitigation under various laws of the countries in which we operate, including the U.S. and the EPA’s Self-Audit Policy and New Owner Policy.

We also assist clients with the design and auditing of their environmental management systems and in connection with internal reviews, which often involve high-stakes matters where the company and managers face multimillion dollar penalties and criminal exposure under broad environmental laws.
