After joining our investments funds team in 2006 as a first seat trainee, Amelia knew that this would be the perfect practice for her.
Amelia particularly enjoys the extra perspective that advising investors gives her and how this complements her advice to managers. She has a talent of balancing technical experience with practical assistance and market knowledge, focusing on what her clients need her to achieve. She has been named as one of the Super Lawyers' Rising Stars on three occasions.
Amelia advises both managers and investors on all sorts of fund-related matters, from establishment onwards. Her experience includes a range of asset classes including real estate, private equity (including impact investment), infrastructure, hedge funds and UCITS. Most of her work relates to listed and private funds in the infrastructure and real estate sectors, but her practice also covers managed accounts, co-investments with funds and investment joint ventures.
