As a partner in our London Real Estate Group, Victoria Sutcliffe deals with a wide variety of commercial real estate work and brings extensive experience to institutional investment, property portfolio management, large and high profile lettings and pre-lettings, sales, purchases and development funding projects, as well as co-ownership structures.

Victoria is one of the principal relationship partners on real estate matters for Mars UK and Dutch Pension Funds, M&G, Fluor Corporation and Equitable Life.

Having worked for over 20 years with a variety of clients on different asset types, Victoria's broader experience gives her a greater understanding of the underlying building blocks upon which the investment is founded and an ability to anticipate (and resolve) potential issues. However, knowing the asset is not enough in itself. She gains a full understanding of the client strategies and required investment returns which enables her to provide pragmatic, commercial and timely advice. She has a proven track record of operating well as part of a team and is not afraid of rolling up her sleeves; working alongside the client, its investment managers and other advisors to resolve problems and to deliver the deal on time.

Victoria received first-hand experience of the need to understand clients' business strategies when she was seconded for twelve months to a pan-European property fund at AXA Real Estate Investment Managers.

Victoria also advises Hogan Lovells in connection with its non-contentious real estate requirements in London.
