Tobias Häußler advises on IT, cybersecurity and data protection law. He advises clients on all aspects of German and European data protection law and represents them in proceedings before data protection authorities.
Tobias assists national and international companies in complying with European and German data protection law. He helps finding practicable solutions to all kinds of legal challenges arising from data protection law.
Tobias studied law at the Eberhard Karls University in Tuebingen, the Free University of Berlin and the Free University of Amsterdam. During his Master of Laws at the Free University of Amsterdam, Tobias specialized in International Technology Law and further deepened his knowledge of the legal challenges arising from the implementation of new technologies. In Berlin, Tobias completed his German legal education with his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Berlin.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Tobias has worked in the privacy team of a leading US technology company. The experience he has gained there now benefits him as a lawyer, especially when it comes to approaching legal issues from the client's perspective.
