Hogan Lovells will host EUCI’s 3rd Annual Nuclear Export Control Symposium to be held from February 2-3, 2012, in the Fulbright (West) Conference Center. The symposium will address the current issues and challenges surrounding nuclear export regulation, compliance, and practice. This year’s conference will focus on the Department of Energy’s (DOE) proposed changes to its nuclear export control regulations.
Hogan Lovells partners Ajay Kuntamukkala and Dan Stenger will lead off the symposium with a detailed update on the U.S. export control regime for nuclear-related transactions as well as current issues and potential impacts of the regulatory changes. Senior officials from the State Department, DOE, the Commerce Department, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission also will be speaking.
