David Walsh advises his clients on antitrust issues, competition, and economic regulation in transactions ranging from complicated cross-border matters to smaller domestic deals.

He brings over 36 years of integrated in-house experience to the firm after spending his entire career in the legal department at IBM. His wealth of knowledge and personal experience working with outside counsel helps him anticipate clients' needs and work beside them to solve cutting-edge challenges – quickly and efficiently.

David's deep understanding of issues affecting the technology space and his well-rounded experience handling matters in each of these facets make him an asset to clients in the industry. He couples this extensive industry knowledge with an innovative, forward-thinking, and practical approach to create tailored strategies to help his clients achieve their business goals.

Throughout his career, David has worked in various leadership roles at IBM. Most recently, he served as the leader of IBM's Global Business Services legal department, as well as IBM's merger and acquisition and antitrust legal teams. He was also a member of IBM's global senior leadership team. In addition, David served as IBM's head of global antitrust for many years, where his accomplishments included successfully resolving multiple matters involving the U.S. Department of Justice, the European Commission, and other antitrust authorities.
