Weathering COVID-19: A webinar series - Contracting and force majeure

Businesses in Japan and around the globe are experiencing significant challenges as a result of COVID-19. In this 60-minute webinar, Tokyo partner Hiroto Imai, Tokyo counsel Seiji Niwa, London partner Angus Rankin, Hong Kong partner Andrew McGinty and Tokyo associate Mizue Kakiuchi will provide an overview of legal and practical issues for global supply chains and contracts, as well as an analysis of the key elements of force majeure and a comparison of common law, Japan, and PRC perspectives.

The speakers will also share their experience of current force majeure and other contractual issues in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This webinar is one of a series of webinars hosted by the Hogan Lovells Tokyo office designed to help our contacts and friends respond to the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic on their businesses. In addition to our webinars, our COVID-19 Topic Center contains updates, tools and resources prepared by our global team.
