Courtney Devon Taylor has built a reputation for skillfully and strategically navigating high-stakes disputes – while building client trust, helping clients tell their stories, and minimizing negative impact on business and reputation. A lawyer who truly loves practicing law and working with all types of people, she is the lawyer of choice for a growing number of companies.
Courtney regularly represents financial institutions in commercial litigation and regulatory enforcement matters. She has experience representing foreign- and U.S.-based companies in securities class action defense, shareholder derivative suits, M&A-related litigation, and litigation emanating from other transactions involving contests for corporate control. Courtney also joins the firm's Sports, Media & Entertainment team, as she represents various entities within the sports sector.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Courtney was a partner at another firm, where she served as the Vice-Chair of the Securities Litigation practice group. She started her career as a litigation associate in the New York headquarters of an international law firm.
