Roman Würtenberger deals with all aspects of intellectual property rights, with a special focus on patents. Roman primarily advises on patent litigation for international and national clients, especially from the pharmaceutical and chemical industries as well as in the field of telecommunications and mechanics. He also advises in the context of injunctions on essential patents and other aspects of FRAND obligations.

Roman studied law with main focus on Intellectual Property Law at the University of Freiburg and at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore. During his study time and legal clerkship, he worked for more than five years as a research assistant at the Institute of Intellectual Property Law of the University of Freiburg. Roman finished his PhD thesis on patent procedural law in 2017. During his time as a trainee solicitor, he worked for our IPMT team in Dusseldorf and London.
