Dr. Marcus Schreibauer
As a partner in the Dusseldorf office, Marcus Schreibauer concentrates on litigation/counselling in the areas of intellectual property law, information technology law and data protection law. He advises, amongst others, on transactional matters such as negotiating and drafting licensing agreements, technology project agreements and M&A transactions. Moreover, Marcus advises clients with respect to all aspects on data protection law, data security and compliance issues. His work includes the representation of clients in proceedings of data protection authorities, data protection provisions in contracts, privacy issues in M&A and outsourcing deals. He is co-head of the firm's Cyber Security Task Force. Marcus is admitted to practice as a specialist lawyer in information technology law (Fachanwalt für Informationstechnologierecht).
He is a member of the working council 'software' of the German Association of Intellectual Property and Copyright Law (GRUR) and a member of the Licensing Executives Society (LES).
