Luis Enrique De la Villa

Luis Enrique de la Villa is a partner in the Hogan Lovells Employment Practice Group. Located in the Madrid office, Luis Enrique has more than 25 years of experience in labour law. He is recognised for his take-charge style and has designed, negotiated, and implemented every possible type of restructuring measure. Those include individual and collective modifications of work conditions, harmonisation of working conditions in merged companies, and individual and collective dismissals.

He also has extensive experience in employment litigation. Much of his work is focused on companies in the telecommunications and healthcare fields. He has advised leading multinational companies with respect to modification of work conditions, and provides ongoing support to the nation’s two largest telemarketing companies on call centre disputes including illegal transfer of staff.Luis Enrique is the author of several articles in the field of employment law and has taught many seminars and courses at the Instituto de Empresa and the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas. He is a professor of law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
