Joe Grdinovac is a highly experienced intellectual property attorney with a passion for learning new technologies, working with clients to identify their business goals, and acquiring and protecting intellectual property assets. 

Along with providing comprehensive approaches to strategic IP portfolio development and management, Joe advises clients of all sizes with an emphasis on portfolio management and analysis, due diligence investigations, post-grant proceedings including IPR and PGR before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), strategic counseling, opinion work, pre-litigation analysis, and patent litigation, among other areas. He has a wealth of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, preparing validity and infringement opinions, and performing clearance investigations.

As a patent prosecution attorney, Joe has prepared patent applications and provided guidance on portfolio development for a wide range of companies in areas such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, web services, oil and gas tools, automotive systems, aerospace, and other software and industrial applications.

Before embarking on his legal career, Joe worked as a mechanical design engineer at an international oil and gas company. He also has experience working with industrial part manufacturers and developing software to analyze non-destructive testing data.
