Webinar | New ED Rules on Financial Responsibility, Administrative Capability, and Certification Procedures

The U.S. Department of Education (ED) recently released final rules addressing new Financial Responsibility, Administrative Capability, and Certification Procedures requirements that will affect higher education institutions’ Program Participation Agreements and broader Title IV compliance efforts. ED contends that the updated rules will increase oversight of institutions and strengthen consumer protections for students and taxpayers. Among other matters, these provisions introduce new, and in some cases, ambiguous requirements related to professional licensure programs, career services, and the financial responsibility of public institutions.
