Dominik Steghöfer advises and represents clients in all kinds of complex commercial disputes, with a special focus on supply chain matters .

Dominik has specialized in dispute resolution early in his career. He was a successful contestant, and later on coach, in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court and worked as a research assistant for the arbitration practice group of the Hogan Lovells Munich office while still at university. During and after his clerkship he then worked at different litigation and arbitration departments at major law firms before rejoining Hogan Lovells in 2016. Since then, Dominik has represented both hidden champions and global players from industries including the life sciences, automotive, retail, energy and technology.

Obtaining injunctive relief for a leading automotive OEM in proceedings against a supplier threatening to breach its delivery contracts.

Defending a global engineering company in a cross-border dispute with a Middle Eastern sub-contractor.

Representing a major electronics retailer holding company in numerous shareholder disputes.

Defending a global pharmaceutical company in injunctive proceedings initiated by a customer refusing to accept a price increase.

Defending a major automotive supplier against contractual, tort and anti-trust damage claims by a competitor.

Representing an automotive OEM in numerous parallel court proceedings concerning contractual, tort and anti-trust claims.

Representing a US medical device manufacturer in a contractual dispute with one of its main customers.
