Daniel Kaneko advises you on all aspects of patent law. He advises and represents national and international clients in patent infringement and nullity proceedings both in disputes against competitors and against non-practicing entities. 

Daniel has extensive experience in representing clients in the telecommunications technology sector and the automotive sector, including on all aspects of FRAND litigation. In 2022/2023, Daniel was seconded to our Tokyo office. 

Daniel graduated amongst the top 1% of his class (Dusseldorf Law School Award 2012/13). He was research assistant at a chair for civil law and intellectual property law at Dusseldorf University as well as at a chair for civil law and media law at Munich University. Prior to joining our firm, Daniel gained extensive experience in Tokyo, inter alia in the IP practice group of a major Japanese law firm and at the Japanese IP High Court. 

Daniel was a scholarship holder of both the German-Academic-Exchange-Service and the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation. He is dedicated to the firm's pro bono legal advice and citizenship work.
