Daniel Kenji Kaneko advises you on all aspects of patent law. He advises and represents national and international clients in patent infringement and nullity proceedings both in disputes against competitors and against non-practicing entities. 

His clients value Daniel's excellent legal skills. Daniel is able to deliver workable and satisfying solutions, tailored for his client's needs. Daniel has particular experience in representing clients in the telecommunications technology sector as well as in the electronic and the mechanical engineering sector. 

Daniel authored a Phd thesis on the Unified Patent Court and Arbitration Proceedings and is thus the "go-to" lawyer when it comes to questions about dispute resolution before the new Unified Patent Court and its Mediation and Arbitration Center. 

Daniel graduated amongst the top 1% of his class (Dusseldorf Law School Award 2012/13). He was research assistant at a chair for civil law and intellectual property law at Dusseldorf University as well as at a chair for civil law and media law at Munich University. During his legal clerkship, Daniel worked for our IPMT practice group in Munich and London as well as in a special chamber for patent law at the District Court Munich I. Prior to joining our firm, Daniel gained experience in Tokyo for 18 months, inter alia in the IP practice group of a major Japanese law firm and at the Japanese IP High Court. 

Daniel was a scholarship holder of both the German-Academic-Exchange-Service and the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation.
