Dr. Christian Knütel

Christian Knütel's broad International Project practice covers all stages of energy and infrastructure projects, from works, supply and service contracts, and project financing to post-construction litigation and project M&A. Especially in the PPP/infrastructure and on and offshore wind sectors, Christian is a recognized authority, having worked on a big variety of major domestic and international projects. 

Christian is always up to speed with the technical background of projects and the current trends on project and finance contracts. He works closely with the firm's regulatory, banking, arbitration and M&A teams, and coordinates with overseas colleagues on cross-border projects. In addition to various other publications on project and energy/infrastructure topics, he is co-editor and author of the legal textbook on project finance and PPP (Rechtshandbuch Projektfinanzierung und PPP), 2nd edition 2008, and author of the offshore wind chapter in the new standard textbook on capital projects (Rechtshandbuch Anlagenbau), Munich 2015.
