Charlotte supports her clients in protecting their intellectual property, in particular in disputes and litigation relating to copyrights and designs as well as unfair competition. In particular she advises and represents national and international clients from the consumer goods sector (e.g. fashion, furniture, toys, food) in litigation regarding imitations of (well-known) product shapes and designs. She assists her clients in obtaining preliminary injunctions against competitors and defends them in lawsuits for injunctive relief and/or damages.
Charlotte also advises and represents clients on the admissibility of advertising, the introduction of new trademarks and their enforcement, e.g. in proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office and the Federal Patent Court. She furthermore supports clients in out-of-court disputes and in contract and settlement negotiations.
Charlotte studied political science and law at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, with a focus on European law and internships in the media sector. During her legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court of Hamburg, she worked inter alia at the German Consulate General in New York and the Hogan Lovells office in Tokyo.

Advising and representing a Danish fashion group in various lawsuits concerning copyright and design protection of fashion products as well as in proceedings to enforce well-known trademarks.
Advising and representing an American multinational technology company focusing on e-commerce in court proceedings in design and unfair competition law relating to various product designs.
Advising and representing a well-known American food and pet food manufacturer in various disputes in and out of court concerning the design of product packagings, color marks and imitations.
Advising and representing an international microblogging platform in a trademark dispute in Germany.
Advising a well-known Swiss chocolate manufacturer in trademark and unfair competition law disputes, in particular in relation to the imitation of product and packaging designs.
