Elizabeth is an experienced litigator who listens to and works with clients to obtain favorable outcomes. Elizabeth practices commercial law in state and federal court and represents clients in myriad business disputes, including breach of contract, mergers and acquisitions, and insurance law.  Elizabeth is a trusted advisor to professional services firms, including management consultants, and also represents clients who are facing external investigations involving State and Federal regulatory authorities. Elizabeth has developed an interest in disputes involving the use of Artificial Intelligence and has advised clients on their ethical duties surrounding the use of such technology.

Elizabeth is a hardworking, detail-oriented advocate who works tirelessly on behalf of her clients. Elizabeth maintains a healthy pro bono practice focused on Family Law in New York City, where she represents indigent clients in matters relating to child support and custody. In addition, Elizabeth has served as an Adjunct-Professor at Fordham Law School teaching students practical lawyering skills necessary to becoming a practicing attorney. 

Representative experience

Co-led five-day AAA arbitration hearing involving ownership dispute over National Basketball Association team member.

Represented client in adversary proceeding alleging fraudulent conveyance of debtor’s assets.

Resolved multi-state civil investigation into client’s sales and marketing advice conducted by State Attorney Generals which resulted in 50-state settlement. *

Successfully obtained dismissal of a class-action complaint in federal court on behalf of homeowners insurance policyholders with affirmance on appeal in a case alleging RICO and Antitrust violations.*

Represented crisis-management firm in connection with third-party civil subpoena issued with respect to firm’s prior work.*

Represented international package shipping company in civil enforcement action brought by the City and State of New York over the shipment of untaxed cigarettes.*
