After graduating in law in 2011, Annalisa Aurilio has worked in an Italian law firm dealing with commercial litigation and transactional work and, at the same time, has completed a two-year specialization course at the University of Milan for legal professionals. During these years, she developed a true passion for IP and technology-related matters.

In 2019, she obtained in Munich, Germany, the LL.M. in IP and Competition Law at MIPLC, a cooperation project between the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and the George Washington University. Here she focused her studies, amongst other things, on IP and technology issues, trademarks, and geographical indications. Just after the end of the LL.M. program, Annalisa joined the EUIPO where she has dealt for one year with trademarks examination and she has been part of the Geographical Indications Expert Group, contributing to the launch of the GIview special project, in collaboration with the DG Agri of EU Commission. Once admitted to the Milan Bar in 2020, she joined the Hogan Lovells IP team in Milan in 2021.
