Aleksandra Kulagina supports national and international clients, including Fortune 500 and DAX 40 companies, on issues of white-collar crime and compliance.
Her work focuses on the organization and performance of internal investigations. Aleksandra's legal knowledge, as well as her language skills put her in the unique position to support international clients on matters with links to the Eastern European region.
Aleksandra studied law at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and is an expert on Russian Law. She also holds an LL.M. in German Law from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. While still at law school she successfully participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, one of the largest international moot court competitions. Aleksandra also coached a Philip C. Jessup Team of the Ludwig Maximilian University in 2018 and obtained the title of National Champion. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Aleksandra worked for a human rights organization based in Moscow.
