Bodunde Ajenifuja is an associate in the firm's corporate practice in London. He supports international and domestic clients on a wide range of transactions, including public and private M&A, private equity, joint ventures, reorganisations, equity capital raisings and general corporate advisory.  

Bodunde is a dual qualified lawyer, qualified to practice in Nigeria and England. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, he was an associate in a market leading corporate law firm in Nigeria, were he advised on high value mergers & acquisitions and private equity deals. Bodunde is also a member of the firm's global Africa practice.

Bodunde has substantial experience advising clients in both emerging and developed markets. His experience spans across a number of industry sectors, including financial services, technology, hospitality, life sciences, healthcare, telecommunications and logistics. 

Representative experience

FTSE 250 listed Shaftesbury PLC in connection with its all-share £5bn recommended merger with FTSE 250 listed Capital & Counties Properties PLC. 

Patron Capital Partners on its circa £1 billion sale of Punch Pubs to Fortress Investment Group

DBAY Advisors Limited on its £307 million take private of AIM listed Telit communications plc.

Viatris, Inc. on the restructuring of its biosimilar business as part of the US$3.3bn sale of the business to Biocon Ltd in India.

Ingredion Incorporated on its public takeover of London Stock Exchange listed PureCircle Limited, a leading producer of stevia sweeteners.

 

Alta Semper on its first investment in Nigeria through an acquisition of majority stake in HealthPlus, one of West Africa's largest pharmaceutical chain.*
