Hogan Lovells shows continued improvement with 141 lawyers recognized by 2019 Chambers USA rankings
Washington, D.C., 30 April 2019 – Hogan Lovells announced today that 141 lawyers were listed in the 2019 edition of Chambers USA published by Chambers & Partners, the legal industry’s leading ranking. A record number of individual Hogan Lovells lawyers achieved Band 1 status, recognizing their distinguished position and outstanding work.
The firm's practices were included in 59 in Band 1 rankings, unchanged from 2018. The firm's number of Band 1 ranked practices rose slightly from 13 to 14, with Litigation (General and Commercial) Florida joining the country's elite after a year that saw a number of major, precedent-setting international client wins for our Miami office.
Among individual lawyers, current Hogan Lovells CEO Stephen Immelt and CEO Emeritus Warren Gorrell were again recognized with the highest accolade, as "Eminent Practitioners." In other rankings, senior counsels Tony Fitzpatrick (Corporate, New York), Mike House (Government Relations, Washington D.C.), Tom McGovern (Government Contracts, Washington D.C.), and Carol Licko (Litigation, Miami), were all elevated to "Senior Statespeople" status by Chambers, giving the firm a record 11 lawyers in that category.
