Hogan Lovells advises Virbac on its agreement with ORIX Corporation for the acquisition of Sasaeah

Tokyo, 12 March 2024 - Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Virbac on its definitive agreement with ORIX Corporation to acquire its Japanese animal health subsidiary, Sasaeah Holdings Co., Ltd. (Sasaeah), for an enterprise value of approximately €280 million. Sasaeah develops, manufactures, and markets veterinary products in Japan, including farm animal vaccines. 

The transaction is strategically significant for Virbac and is an important step in the company’s plans for growth in Japan as well as across Asia.
