Cristina Marin is a Counsel based in the Paris office. Her practice focuses on debt restructuring transactions (including asset finance restructuring transactions), acquisition finance and corporate finance including cross-border transactions. She advises both sponsors/borrowers and lenders.
Cristina joined Hogan Lovells in 2019 after spending six and a half years in the banking & finance team of Weil Gotshal & Manges (Paris) LLP and four years in the banking & finance team of Herbert Smith Freehills (Paris) LLP.
She studied law, focusing on international contracts, and banking law. She received a Master in Law and International Contracts in 2005 from the University of Burgundy, as well as a bachelor degree in law from the University of Bucharest.
She is a member of the Paris Bar. Her native language is Romanian and she is fluent in English and French.
