Gernot Dederichs advises companies in the areas of compliance, internal investigations and white-collar crime. 

The focus of his compliance advice is on the implementation of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act and the German Whistleblower Protection Act. He regularly advises companies and individuals in investigations by German or foreign criminal and regulatory authorities. He provides support in organizing and conducting internal company investigations, also with regard to specific process and crisis management.

Gernot is an active member of the global ESG group as well as the "Business & Human Rights" group of Hogan Lovells.

He completed a dual business degree at the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bafin) before studying law at the University of Cologne from 2014 with a focus on corporate law. After the First State Examination, he worked as a research assistant in labor law at a large Cologne law firm. During his legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Aachen, he worked for the German Embassy in Budapest and an international law firm, among others.
