Three Hogan Lovells attorneys speaking at SmallSat Symposium 2024

Three Washington D.C.-based Hogan Lovells attorneys, partners Steve Kaufman and Alexis Sáinz, along with senior associate George John, will speak at the upcoming SmallSat Symposium 2024. The industry conference will be held in Mountain View, CA on February 6-8, 2024.

Steve Kaufman will moderate the panel “Direct to Device: Business Potential, Financing and Economics” alongside speakers from Omnispace, Sateliot, Iridium, Skylo Technologies, and Sheppard Mullin.

Alexis Sáinz will be moderating a panel titled “M&A Potential in Changing Market Conditions Where Do We Go Post-SPAC?” The panel will feature key speakers from AE Industrial Partners, Bain & Company, Alpine Space Ventures, PJT Partners, and KippsDeSanto & Co.

George John will be featured as a panelist on the “SmallSat Summary Outcomes of WRC-23” panel moderated by Tom Stroup, President of The Satellite Industry Association and alongside representatives from River Advisers, the Space Bureau, and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).

The SmallSat Symposium brings together industry leaders in Silicon Valley with technical and business perspectives from the small satellite community. The conference is a key event to establishing and growing connections within the space industry through keynotes, panels, and networking events.
