Sailing the international market and building an innovative ecosystem

On 19 November, Hogan Lovells and Shenzhen Intellectual Property Association successfully co-hosted the international intellectual property seminar named “Sailing the international market and building an innovative ecosystem”, following the successful forum held in Xiamen in June this year.

The seminar was attended by around 80 guests from various businesses in Shenzhen across TMT, consumer, education and other industries.

Hogan Lovells partners in the field of intellectual property, including Joe Raffetto of the Washington D.C. office, Dr. Martin Fähndrich of the Düsseldorf office, and Ruud van der Velden of the Amsterdam office, discussed the intellectual property protection challenges that Chinese companies are facing, and some insights on the recent IP issues. Most importantly, they shared some practical tips that Chinese business can use to build a competitive advantage, and avoid legal risks. The following topics were covered:
