Damian Sternberg advises companies and the public sector on all issues of public building and planning law, historic preservation law and plant-related environmental law. In complex approval procedures, he represents both applicants and approval authorities. He negotiates urban development contracts and advises on the preparation of development plans. In addition, Damian provides comprehensive advice on the regulatory framework of stationary care facilities.

Due to his consistent specialization, Damian has extensive experience in dealing with authorities and political decision-makers. Since 2019, he has held the title of specialist lawyer for administrative law. He is the author of the juris Praxisreport "Public Building Law" and holds lectures and seminars on his areas of specialization for, among others, the Personnel Academy of the state capital Düsseldorf. 

Damian studied law in Bonn and Vilnius. After working as a lecturer at the Central Institute for Area Planning at the University of Münster, he completed his legal internship at the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Urban Development and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (Supreme Monument Authority) and in our Düsseldorf office, among others. Before joining Hogan Lovells, Damian worked for a law firm specializing in construction law in Bonn.

Ongoing advice to ADAC in lease and construction law matters for various project developments for branches in Düsseldorf, Essen and Cologne.
