Sanchita R. Bose leverages her background in life sciences, health policy, and the law to advise clients globally on navigating complex regulatory matters in the Medical Devices industry.

Sanchita assists clients with bringing innovative medical devices to the U.S. market and helps tackle regulatory challenges throughout the various stages of a product’s life cycle. Her areas of expertise include providing strategic advice on premarket submissions to help clients obtain FDA clearance or approval, guiding companies on post-market compliance and enforcement matters, and performing regulatory due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions. Sanchita’s background in Physiology and Neurobiology, and prior work in the pharmaceutical industry, also provides a strong foundation to support cross-practice matters, often involving review of combination products. She further uses this intersectional experience to adeptly analyze the complex legal implications and regulatory landscapes of emerging technologies, such as novel cell, tissue, and gene therapy products.

Sanchita received her J.D. with a concentration in Health Law from the George Washington University Law School and MPH in Health Policy and Management from the Milken Institute School of Public Health. During law school, she helped spearhead the Health Law Initiative as a Kahan Health/FDA Law Fellow, and successfully defended underrepresented individuals in D.C. Superior Court who faced eviction and housing displacement during the COVID-19 pandemic.

At Hogan Lovells, Sanchita remains committed to her passion for pro bono work and maintains an active practice that includes representing and advocating on behalf of domestic violence survivors, helping clients petition for asylum, and engaging in settlement negotiations. Most recently, she was recognized on the D.C. Courts’ Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll list, with High Honors.
