Hogan Lovells is pleased to host an Amcham presentation by Nicolas Colin and Pierre Collin, authors of the recent report to the French government on the taxation in the digital economy.
Messrs. Collin and Colin will outline their recent recommendations to the French government in connection with the reform of tax rules for the digital economy, including:
• The renegotiation of international tax treaties by reforming the concept of "permanent establishment" to better reflect the production of digital wealth;
• The creation of a "smart non disclosure" tax to encourage virtuous privacy behavior by Internet firms.
The session will be moderated by Xenia Legendre, head of the tax department at Hogan Lovells, and will include ample Q&A with the audience.
The discussion will be in French & English.
