A particular focus of Dominik lies in defending technology companies against patent infringement accusations both in patent infringement as well as in invalidity proceedings. He works on various fields of technology, with a particular focus on electronics, information and telecommunication technology, mechatronics as well as software.
Dominik Winkler studied engineering science (B.Sc.) and electrical engineering and information technology (M.Sc.) at the Technical University of Munich. During his study programs, Dominik focused on mobile communication technology and also worked in the mobile communication division of a US based chip supplier.
In addition, as part of his training to become a patent attorney, Dominik had the opportunity to accompany the judges of the 7th Chamber of the Munich I Regional Court as well as the 2nd, 5th, and 19th Senates of the Federal Patent Court.
