A dynamic and pragmatic problem solver, Vassi has significant experience managing large-scale and highly publicized consumer class actions and multijurisdictional suits from inception through resolution involving privacy claims, unfair competition claims, and false advertising claims, among others. Vassi has represented clients in the technology and healthcare industries in class actions arising out of data breaches and cyberattacks, as well as internal and regulatory investigations focused on issues of privacy and cybersecurity. Vassi also guides clients across industries in CCPA compliance efforts.

In addition to her client work, Vassi is a leader on the recruitment and diversity committees at Hogan Lovells and is passionate about pro bono work. In 2018, she and a team of Hogan Lovells litigators received the Public Counsel Pro Bono Award in recognition of their vigorous representation of an indigent client and their procurement of an outstanding settlement on his behalf. In 2017, Vassi was selected to participate as the firm’s Diversity Pathfinder in the Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity, an organization of corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners dedicated to creating a truly diverse legal profession.

Before joining the firm, Vassi worked at Hogan Lovells as a summer associate. During law school, she was actively engaged in trial advocacy and served as a director of the Berkeley Law mock trial program. She was a national semi-finalist in the ABA labor and employment trial competition and regional champion of the Texas Young Lawyer Association's national trial competition. She received the American Jurisprudence Award for advanced trial practice. In addition, Vassi served as the California annual review editor for the Berkeley Journal of Criminal Law, and as a law clerk in the criminal division of the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General.
