"Charismatic" lawyer Tobias Faber is a "widely recognised young partner" (Legal 500) who has an exceptional legal knowledge and an outstanding technical affinity to answer your legal questions regarding energy, infrastructure and engineering projects. He effectively handles the most complex and largest cross-border energy and, in particular, energy-from-waste projects in markets such as Germany, United Kingdom, Brazil and Middle East.
Tobias has a fantastic in-sight into the contemporary domestic and international energy and engineering market which is instrumental for the success of your project. Whether you need advice on project documentation and agreements (EPC and EPC-subcontracts), O&M agreements, financing documentation, project M&A agreements or project-related conflicts, Tobias will always provide clear-sighted advice throughout the entire life cycle of your project. He "does much more than expected" and is great at "tracking open issues" while dealing with his clients, who are sponsors, contractors, lenders, general planers and investors of a project. When acting in court proceedings Tobias gets "heavily involved" and has the ability to successfully enforce his client's interests.
As a former member of the regional parliament and former head of the administrative council of a municipal enterprise, Tobias is sensitized to issues in the public-private environment. Coupled with his "excellent dedication to the client" he is your "Go-To" lawyer for international energy and energy-from-waste projects as well as projects within the engineering context. The combination of technical know-how, exceptional legal and negotiation skills as well as his structured way of strategic thinking distinguish Tobias. Tobias completed his studies in Frankfurt and Gießen, supplemented by a study abroad in Cape Town. Since 2008 Tobias has given lectures in "Renewable Energy Finance" at the prestigious Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
