Daniel assists companies on a full range of international trade law and policy issues, including customs, sanctions laws and export controls. He also advises on foreign and direct investment regulations, particularly under the National Security and Investment Act 2021. 

From 2015 to 2021, Daniel worked in the UK Parliament advising and assisting Claire Coutinho MP and Peter Heaton-Jones MP with their parliamentary work. His period at the UK Parliament coincided with the Brexit referendum a debate over the UK’s trade relationship with the EU, the consideration of a new UK investment screening regime, and the Covid-19 pandemic.
