Sebastian Oebels

Sebastian Oebels advises national and international companies on German and international asset securitisations and other structured finance transactions. He focuses on all legal aspects of debt capital markets products including asset backed as well as other debt issuance programmes. In particular, Sebastian has gathered wide experience in advising banks, issuers and originators on auto loans and trade receivables securitisations.

Sebastian studied law at the University of Frankfurt am Main. During his legal internship he was employed at the Frankfurt office of a major international law firm. Before joining Hogan Lovells, Sebastian worked as an associate for a major German law firm in the area of finance.

Representative experience

Advising FMS Wertmanagement on the update of their €65bn Debt Issuance Programme.

Advising LBBW and Continental AG on the update of their securitisation of trade receivables with a total value of €175m.

Advising VW on the renewal of their securitisation programmes VCL Master Netherlands, DFM Master, VCL Master C1, VCL Master RV C1 and VCL Master RV C2.
