Employment Bite | January 2027 unfair dismissal changes in the UK

Unfair dismissal rights in the UK are set to expand significantly under the Employment Rights Act. As of 1 January 2027, the qualifying period for protection against unfair dismissal will reduce from two years to six months, and the statutory cap on unfair dismissal compensation will also be removed.
