Polly B. Sims

Polly Sims focuses her practice at Hogan Lovells on protecting and licensing client intellectual property assets. Before she began her legal career, Polly was a systems engineer for a large global security and aerospace company, and provided systems engineering technical advisor (SETA) support in information systems assurance and security to a government client. Today, this experience augments her understanding of the intellectual property issues that clients face.

An associate in our IPMT group, Polly is knowledgeable about technology-based transactions, patent litigation, and patent prosecution. She assists clients in patent portfolio analysis and counseling. In addition, she has a deep understanding of mergers and acquisitions and due diligence investigations. She advises clients in a wide range of industries and technologies, including energy and e-commerce.
