Hogan Lovells partner Andrew Zahn named among Law360 Rising Stars
Washington, D.C., 20 June 2023 - Global law firm Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that Andrew Zahn, a partner in our Corporate & Finance practice based in our Washington, D.C. office, has been named among the Law360 Rising Stars for 2023 in the Real Estate category.
Zahn, a member of our Real Estate and Capital Markets practice groups (the former a Law360 Practice Group of the Year for the last two years), was nominated for his work advising VICI Properties, Inc. on a number of transactions, including leading capital markets and securities matters related to its 2022 US$17.2 billion strategic acquisition of MGM Growth Properties LLC. The acquisition is one of the largest deals of the year and one of the largest REIT deals of all time. Zahn also advised VICI on a number of follow-on transactions, including a US$1 billion forward equity offering in January 2023.
Additionally, Zahn was honored for his contribution to the firm’s work for Welltower, one of the largest U.S. REITs focused on healthcare infrastructure, on its global corporate re-organization and conversion from a traditional REIT into an UPREIT operating structure. Zahn also advised VICI on UPREIT structuring matters in connection with VICI’s merger with MGM Growth Properties, demonstrating his strength in advising leading REITs on structuring their complex transactions.
