Singapore, 15 April 2025 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has announced that Phill Hall has joined the firm as a Corporate & Finance partner in the Capital Markets practice area, based in Singapore.

Phill joins from Linklaters. He advises underwriters and issuers on a broad range of international capital markets transactions across India, Asia-Pacific and Australasia, including convertible/exchangeable bonds, medium-term note programs, covered bonds, green and ESG bonds, Islamic finance, regulatory capital, perpetual securities, straight debt issues, and liability management transactions.

“We are delighted to welcome Phill to Hogan Lovells,” said James Doyle, Head of the Corporate & Finance practice. “He joins one of the largest fully integrated global platforms of any law firm and will enhance our DCM practice, bringing additional experience and capacity to our capital markets team in the Asia-Pacific region.”

“Phill’s experience and excellent track record make him a great fit for our practice – boosting our DCM offering in India and Southeast Asia, and complementing our highly-rated ECM practice in the region,” said Julian Craughan, Head of Capital Markets, International.

Siew Kam Boon, Singapore Office Managing Partner, said, “Phill’s arrival follows closely on our other strategic hires into Southeast Asia in recent months, including Rob Palmer, Charmian Aw, David Harrison, Timothy Goh, Thomas Kim, and myself, and underscores the firm’s increased capabilities in Singapore and our ongoing commitment to the broader APAC region.”
